Chung Tian Buddhist Temple conducts tours for schools that are educational, informative and enjoyable. Students are guided to a tour of the temple’s traditional Chinese architectural buildings and the beautiful zen garden. The tour also includes introduction to Buddhism and important aspects of Chinese Culture as well as other activities.

School Visiting Tours must be booked two months in advance to enable coordination and scheduling of our Guides. Chung Tian is a non-profit organisation and all donations are appreciated as they enable us to continue our work.

In order to facilitate an enjoyable and informative visit to Chung Tian, we request that you take note of the following guidelines:

  1. Tour organizers must book their School Visit two months in advance by completing the application forms and e-mail or fax to the Chung Tian Temple administration.
  2. The numbers of tour guide have to be coordinated to ensure that groups are adequately supported. As such, it would be appreciated if tour organisers could re-confirm the number of attendees 24 hours in advance. This would help us to ascertain the number of guides necessary to cover your tour
  3. The temple’s buildings and grounds are intended to provide a peaceful haven in order to promote peace of mind and clarity of thought. As such, we do not encourage clutter and would appreciate if you remove any rubbish generated during your visit and ensure that it is properly disposed of.
  4. Vegetarianism is practised in the temple for the cultivation of compassion and respect for all lives. If tour groups wish to bring their own food or snacks, please ensure that they comply with this principle.
  5. Visitors are advised that they are responsible for their personal property at all times. There are designated areas where your property may be stored. Kindly secure all your personal belongings as we will not be held liable for any losses incurred while you are on the temple’s premises.
  6. General photography of the temple’s rooms is not allowed.
