cultural exchange programs......

In order to provide Buddhists with the opportunity to have cultural exchange programs and make friends with one another, Venerable Master Hsing Yun founded Buddha's Light International Association (BLIA) at Hsi Lai Temple in 1992. So far, over 100 chapters have been set up around the world with a present membership in excess of one million members. The organization contributes to the unification of Buddhists worldwide and to world peace.

In addition, Venerable Master Hsing Yun himself also visited Griffith University and deliver lectures in University of Queensland as well as Bond University while his previous stay in Brisbane.

Furthermore, International Buddhist Progress Society was also established in order to provid assistances to all branches of FGS order and BLIA chapters.
