| A traditional Chinese Chan garden surrounds the temple
with sculptured landscapes and plants. |

| Museum |
| The museum houses a substantial collection of Buddha and
Bodhisattva statues, Chinese calligraphic works, paintings,
crafts and other Asian artefacts. New themes and special
displays are periodically showcased. Prior exhibits have
focused on Chinese antiques and the Qin Dynasty terra cotta
army. The museum is an educational resource, helping to
cross cultural barriers. |

| Conference Room |
| The conference room can accommodate 120 people. It is
equipped with modern facilities and is ideal for lectures
and workshops. |

| Bodhisattva Hall |
| The Bodhisattva Hall is dedicated to Avalokiteesvara
Bodhisattva (Kuan Yin), the manifestation of compassion
within us all. A Bodhisattva is a living person who, through
perfect love, is committed to liberating all living beings
from suffering. There is a Bodhisattva statue with many
hands; these hands represent a Bodhisattva's ability to help
sentient beings in a variety of ways according to each
individual's need. |

| Meditation Hall |
| The meditation hall enshrines Sakyamuni Buddha. It is a
haven for monastic and lay people alike who seek inner peace
through meditation. This type of practice disciplines the
body and mind to create a healthier being, and cultivates
wisdom. |

Lotus Treasury World |
|
Here, it represents a Buddha¡¦s world of peace, tranquillity
and harmony. Lotus flower is usually found associated with
Buddhism as it symbolizes purity because even growing out of
mud, it is exquisite and uncontaminated. This also reminds
us to cultivate a pure mind even when we are in the turmoil
of this world. |

Sutra Transcript Room |
|
Sutra transcription originated in China before printing was
invented. The sutra transcript room is equipped with both
traditional and modern Chinese calligraphy material. A great
place to come and experience this oriental art |

Blessing Bell |
|
The big ¡¥Blessing Bell¡¦ in the center court is believed to
be the heaviest and the biggest bell in Brisbane. When
striking the bell, we should have a mind of extending the
benefit to all others. |
